Trip to the ER
Last week Hailey had her first major accident. She is known to run full speed ahead without looking where she is going. Unfortunately she tripped on Grandma's rug and fell face first onto the marble coffee table. She actually only cried for a few minutes, but we were worried that she might need stitches so we took her to the hospital. She was happy to get a stuffed animal at check-in and was wonderful for the doctors. Instead of stitches she just got some "glue" to help heal and close the wound. She was so good at the hospital, and we were in and out of there in 35 minutes! Besides me feeling like the worst mom ever, we made it through okay. Hopefully it gets better soon so people can stop asking if she got in a fight at preschool :) Here's some pictures of the damage.

Poor thing!! Trips to the ER are not good...I am glad she didn't have to get stitches!
AHH! She's such a trooper! Trips to the ER and awful, and tedious. It's nice you didn't have to wait long. Will the glue help it not to leave a scar? Either way, less painful than stiches!
Stitches and ER trips make a childhood. Now she'll have some cool pictures to show when she gets older. It does surprise me how well kids bounce back from stuff like that.
Bummer. Poor Hailey. It is not fun watching your baby get glued back together. We used Mederma on Kaden's forehead so it didn't leave that big of a scar. Hope that all is going well in good old AZ
Ah, poor thing! Looks like she did pretty well though, yeah for her. Sorry you had to go through that, it was probably worse for you :)
