Well, instead of getting a puppy, which we almost got!, we decided to go for a more low-key, less maintenance pet for now. Hailey's favorite word right now is fish (or pish, or bish) so we thought she would love having a Beta. We set the bowl up in her room and this morning she was so excited when she woke up we heard her at 6:15am shouting in her room FISH, FISH, FISH. So hopefully it will last more than a few days...

Great idea! Megan would love a puppy, or kitten, or really anything. Jeff just might let her have a fish...maybe.
